Symptoms: General deep ache in the arch of your back and/or top of the buttocks. Either to one side, both sides or centrally. You will feel generally inflexible and stiff and it may take you a bit of time to get moving after you get up.
Reason misalignment is a factor: Misalignment means your spine shifts more to one side causing compression and stiffening of the facet joints in the spine, overtime this can cause irritation of arthritic conditions. The same is the case with your sacroiliac joint when it is held excessively tight for a long period of time.
How Pelvipro treats this: Pelvipro aids muscle strengthening which is of great benefit to arthritic joints. You cannot reverse the degeneration of the cartilage, but you still can and should strengthen your back. By increasing the flexibility of your joints you will reduce discomfort and inflammation from muscles and ligaments.
Please see facet joints and sacroiliac joint sections for more information.

Sciatic Nerve Stretch
This is a very commonly used exercise. It flosses the sciatic nerve within the body. Where the nerve has been tethered or compressed, this exercise is designed to mobilise and work it free.
This stretch focuses on stretching the piriformis muscle. However, if the pelvis is misaligned after a short period of time the piriformis simply tightens back up.
